5. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Philadelphia is one of the most historic cities in the US, filled with many things to do for not only humans but for dogs too! There are 63 parks located around Philadelphia, many of which include off-leash dog parks. If you are traveling on 95 North or South, make sure to take a pit stop in Philly to enjoy a quick stretch!

Home to one of the largest dog parks in the US, Colorado Springs is a dog’s dream city! Almost everywhere you go in Colorado Springs your 4-legged friend can tag along. Whether you are just passing through or staying for a while, you’ll find many places to be dog-friendly in the Springs.

- Dog Beach: You could spend ALL day here with your pup! This beach is like doggy heaven. Even if you are traveling without a dog, you’ll love to walk around and see all the different dogs simply enjoying life! In case you were wondering, Dog Beach is NOT fenced in – it is completely open so if you are comfortable having your dog off-leash then it’s perfect.
